“Two Winners Strike £1 Million Each in Premium Bonds Draw”

The latest results for Premium Bonds in December 2025 have been revealed, bringing good news to two lucky individuals who are now £1 million richer.

Every month, two people win £1 million in the Premium Bonds draw. In the recent December 2025 draw, the first winner resides in Norwich and holds £35,000 worth of Premium Bonds. Their winning bond number, 591RD417238, was acquired in August 2024.

The second £1 million winner lives in Cornwall and possesses £20,000 in Premium Bonds. Their winning bond number, 615WP633178, was purchased in February 2025.

Premium Bonds, offered by National Savings & Investment (NS&I), are a unique savings product where instead of earning a fixed interest rate, holders are entered into monthly prize draws.

Prizes for Premium Bonds range from £25 to £1 million, with most winners receiving smaller amounts. The odds of winning vary each month, making it uncertain whether bondholders will receive a prize.

For instance, while there are thousands of £25 prizes, there are only two £1 million prizes available.

Andrew Westhead, NS&I Retail Director, expressed congratulations to the two Premium Bonds jackpot winners, remarking on their timely fortune, especially during the holiday season.

The maximum amount allowed in Premium Bonds is £50,000, with each pound invested corresponding to a unique bond number. The odds of winning a prize stand at 22,000 to 1 for every pound bond.

NS&I notifies winners via email or text message, allowing them to choose to have the prize transferred to their bank account or reinvested in more Premium Bonds. Checking for winnings can be done through the NS&I online prize checker or the Premium Bonds prize checker app, with the current prize fund rate at 3.60%.
