Apple has had a busy week unveiling new products. The tech giant introduced the iPhone 17e, upgraded iPad Air, and new MacBook Pro models featuring M5 processors. Now, Apple has revealed its latest offering – the MacBook Neo, a budget-friendly laptop priced at £599.
The MacBook Neo boasts a vibrant design, impressive performance, and a 13-inch high-resolution display. This price point is significantly lower than the latest MacBook Air, also launched this week.
Powered by Apple’s A18 Pro-series processor, the MacBook Neo is designed to meet everyday digital needs. It runs macOS and provides access to popular applications like Microsoft Word and iMovie.
With over 15 hours of battery life, the MacBook Neo is highly efficient. It includes two USB-C ports but lacks MagSafe charging. Additionally, it features a 1080p FaceTime HD camera, Touch ID, dual side-firing speakers with Spatial Audio and Dolby Atmos support, a Magic Keyboard, and a Multi-Touch trackpad.
Available for pre-order now, the MacBook Neo will hit stores next week. Apple’s senior vice president of Hardware Engineering, John Ternus, expressed excitement about the product, emphasizing its affordability and unique features.
