The competition featured horses from renowned stables like Gordon Elliott and Henry de Bromhead, as well as Rocky’s Diamond, who finished fourth in the 2025 Stayers’ Hurdle.
With Connor King as the handler and his brother Daniel as the jockey, Oscars Brother triumphed by three lengths, outpacing De Bromhead’s Koktail Divin. The seven-year-old, guided skillfully by Daniel, maintained a leading position throughout the race, showcasing impressive jumps and finishing strongly as the 7-4 favorite.
Before this victory, Oscars Brother had prepared for the three-mile race on challenging ground at Galway. The duo now aims to nurture a potential Grade One contender at their stable, which currently houses only one other racehorse in training.
