A fashion brand catering to plus-size individuals and retailed at Next and Marks and Spencer is facing potential collapse as it moves towards administration.
Live Unlimited has initiated the process to appoint administrators, which triggers a temporary legal protection preventing creditors from taking immediate legal actions for ten days.
Reports indicate that Irwin Mitchell will oversee the administration process. Live Unlimited and Irwin Mitchell have been contacted for further comments by Mirror.
Established in 2012 by Rachel Heather and Tracy Egan, Live Unlimited initially began as a small capsule collection before expanding into a full-fledged brand in 2017.
The company recently collaborated with Nordstrom to distribute its clothing range, available in sizes 12 to 28, in the US market.
On a separate note, Cefinn, a retail fashion company founded by Samantha Cameron, wife of former UK Prime Minister David Cameron, is winding down its operations.
Lady Cameron confirmed that the upcoming winter collection will be the last for Cefinn. The brand’s stores in London will remain open for business in the coming months along with its online platform.
Expressing the difficulty of the decision, Lady Cameron acknowledged the challenges of making Cefinn profitable amid increasing costs, leading to the conclusion to cease operations.
Lady Cameron shared on Instagram her decision to wind down Cefinn’s future operations after eight years of entrepreneurial journey.
The brand, established in 2017, targeted modern women who appreciate fashion without compromising on dignity and intelligence.
Despite positive trading figures, the closure decision was influenced by the challenges in the fashion wholesale sector, rising costs, and international trade limitations.
Lady Cameron hopes that Cefinn will remain a favorite among its fans despite the closure.
