WhatsApp users are in for a treat with a host of new features aimed at enhancing the messaging experience. Meta-owned WhatsApp has rolled out updates to emojis, stickers, calls, and Channels for Android and iPhone users to enjoy.
The latest feature drop introduces animated emojis, making chats more interactive with moving emojis. Additionally, an animated sticker maker allows users to convert favorite videos into dynamic stickers. Social stickers are now available in one-to-one chats for those with avatars, and group creation has been simplified, enabling users to start a new group without immediately adding members.
Users can now caption, react, and reply to multiple media files simultaneously. In the call update, WhatsApp has added a dedicated tab for making new calls, sharing call links, and managing call history, along with new filters and effects for video calls and photos.
The platform’s “Other Updates” section includes the ability to add photos to polls on Channels, star favorite updates for easy access, and mention groups in statuses, allowing all group members to view and reshare the status.
With these new enhancements, WhatsApp continues to innovate and improve the user experience for its millions of users worldwide.
