Sky has introduced its latest offering, the Glass Air TV, which is now available for purchase on the Sky website. This internet-connected television, first announced in February, boasts a range of features including a 4K display, Dolby Audio, and voice control through the remote. The starting price for the Sky Glass Air is just £6 per month with a £20 upfront fee.
Customers can choose from three color options, such as White and Green, and select larger screen sizes like 55 and 65 inches, albeit at an additional cost. Unlike traditional setups, Sky Glass Air operates without a dish, receiving content solely through the internet.
Among the features of Glass Air are personalized recommendations, access to popular streaming apps like Netflix, and a handy Playlists feature for saving content. While the base price covers the TV itself, additional content packages start from £15 per month, bringing the total cost to around £21, which includes over a hundred channels and Netflix.
For those desiring more content such as Sports and Cinema channels, the price will increase accordingly. Opting for a complete content package along with the Air TV could exceed £50.
