Several individuals were swiftly taken to a medical facility following a bus collision with a residential building in London. Pictures displayed the bus wedged into the side of an apartment block on Station Approach, Feltham. London Fire Brigade confirmed the deployment of two fire trucks and treatment of multiple individuals at the scene. The impact of the crash damaged a balcony on the ground level of the apartment complex.
Local Member of Parliament Seema Malhotra identified the involved bus as the H25, operating between Feltham and Hatton Cross Station, that collided with the structure.
Eyewitnesses reported that the bus appeared to have “lost control” and was “spinning” moments before the accident occurred.
Eight patients, including two children, received treatment on-site after the crash, as stated by a London Ambulance Service representative. Emergency services responded to the incident on New Road, Feltham, where one adult was transported to a hospital for further care, while the others were discharged at the scene.
Observers gathered at the crash site following the collision, which not only involved the bus but also led to damage to street fixtures and the ground floor balcony of the apartment building.
Expressing shock and sadness, Feltham Labour MP Seema Malhotra extended her gratitude to the emergency services for their swift response and offered support to those affected by the incident.
A woman, whose daughter was on the bus during the crash, recounted the event on social media, describing the bus driver’s loss of control that led to the collision. Fortunately, there were no serious injuries reported among the passengers.
The London Fire Brigade confirmed that multiple individuals were evaluated at the crash site, with a few taken to the hospital as a precautionary measure. Firefighters from Feltham Fire Station and Heston Fire Station responded to the scene to ensure safety and assist emergency services.
