“Tragic Cruise Ship Death: Mother’s Shocking Discovery”

The mother of a teenage girl who tragically died on a cruise ship has shared how she discovered her daughter’s death. New information has emerged about the case of Anna Kepner, an 18-year-old whose body was found on a Carnival Cruise ship during a family vacation in November.

Anna, from Titusville, Florida, was on a six-day Carnival cruise with her family when she was pronounced dead in international waters between Mexico and Florida. The Miami-Dade County Medical Examiner stated that Anna passed away at 11:17 am on November 7, but details regarding the autopsy, cause of death, and manner of death have not been disclosed by authorities.

Her body was concealed under a bed, wrapped in a blanket, and covered with life jackets before a maid discovered it. The FBI and ship security personnel are interviewing other passengers, crew members, and Kepner’s relatives.

Reports indicate that Anna felt unwell on the evening of November 6 and returned to her cabin. The next day, her father and other family members searched for her as she did not show up for breakfast.

In a recent interview, Anna’s mother, Heather Wright, disclosed that she learned about her daughter’s death through Google. Wright also mentioned that her youngest son was informed at school by a friend that his sister had been murdered, as detailed in her interview on NewsNation.

She received a text prompting her to check if her daughter was on a cruise, leading her to search desperately for Anna online. After unsuccessful attempts to contact her daughter or ex-husband, Wright searched for ’18-year-old died on cruise ship.’

Law enforcement is examining CCTV footage from the ship and analyzing electronic key card data to identify who accessed the teenager’s cabin, according to a source. Carnival Cruise Line affirmed its full cooperation with the federal investigation.
