“Gang-Related Slaying Shocks Ireland: Victim Tortured and Decapitated”

A heartless murderer who subjected a young boy to extreme cruelty in a gang-related slaying left a disturbing message for the victim’s loved ones and acquaintances. Keane Mulready-Woods became entangled in a drug dispute in Drogheda, Ireland, and was enticed to a residence on January 12, 2020, where he was tormented and decapitated by suspected serial killer Robbie Lawlor. This savage act instilled fear in the community and represented a new, appalling depth in the ongoing gang conflict.

His body parts were discarded from a vehicle in a sports bag onto a sidewalk in Moatview, and his head, hands, and feet were later discovered in a burned-out car in Dublin. The killing of Keane triggered a series of retaliatory assaults, culminating in Lawlor being fatally shot in April 2020. The 36-year-old contract killer had a history of numerous criminal convictions and links to several high-profile murders. Following Keane’s murder, Lawlor went into hiding, potentially motivated by a disturbing video posted on social media.

In a separate incident in December 2019, Lawlor was acquitted of a murder attempt and subsequently assaulted outside a gym by an individual associated with one of his alleged victims. The altercation was recorded, with the assailant declaring that it was just the beginning. Lawlor’s belongings were stolen, and his adversaries later posted images wearing his footwear. It is believed that Lawlor may have sought vengeance against Keane due to a prior confrontation.

Lawlor also suspected Keane’s involvement in the killing of his brother-in-law Richie Carberry in November 2019. Law enforcement authorities speculate that Lawlor escalated from intending to give Keane a beating to inflicting torture. Lawlor met his demise when he was shot in the head in broad daylight in Belfast, with investigators considering various theories including a setup by rivals or self-defense by a drug dealer.

Following Lawlor’s death, it was revealed that he used to disguise himself as a woman to evade law enforcement, often dressing in women’s clothing and accessories. Despite his criminal activities, Lawlor’s acquaintances found humor in his cross-dressing antics. At the time of his death, Keane was under supervision after being convicted of intimidating a local mother regarding drug debts owed by her child to the gang.

After the brutal incident, mourners gathered at the Holy Family Church in Ballsgrove to honor Keane Mulready-Woods. Father Phil Gaffney expressed outrage at the audacity of those who took it upon themselves to decide Keane’s fate, condemning their actions as arrogance, wickedness, and evil.
