Tesco has announced a special promotion for Clubcard members, offering two points for every £1 spent on gift cards throughout December. The promotion is valid for all third-party gift cards purchased at Tesco stores during the entire month.
This means that customers will receive double points when purchasing any gift card from Tesco, not limited to Tesco-branded ones. The additional points will be automatically credited to the Clubcard account.
In a statement, Ban Mahsoub, Partnerships Director at Tesco Insurance and Money Services, emphasized the convenience of earning two points for every £1 spent on gift cards. This initiative allows customers to give gifts they love while also benefiting by earning rewards.
Tesco currently has approximately 24 million Clubcard members who earn points through various transactions. Customers earn one Clubcard point for every £1 spent on groceries in-store or online, on fuel purchases at Tesco petrol stations, Tesco Mobile spending, Tesco credit card transactions, and using a Tesco Clubcard Pay+ debit card. To redeem rewards, a minimum of 150 points is required, equivalent to a £1.50 Clubcard voucher for use at Tesco.
Furthermore, savvy shopper Jordon Cox shared a tip on deciphering the expiration dates of deals at Tesco. By looking for a specific six-digit number on items on Clubcard Price promotion, shoppers can determine when the offer will end, helping them plan their purchases strategically to save money.
