The latest January 2026 Premium Bond results were revealed today, bringing fortune to two individuals who are now £1 million wealthier.
One lucky winner hailing from Suffolk, holding the maximum £50,000 in Premium Bonds, clinched the jackpot with bond number 570QM451332 purchased back in February 2024.
The second £1 million winner, residing in Berkshire and also possessing £50,000 in Premium Bonds, struck gold with bond number 377PG290829 acquired in December 2019.
Premium Bonds, managed by National Savings & Investment (NS&I), function uniquely by entering holders into a monthly prize draw instead of offering a fixed interest rate on investments.

Prizes for Premium Bonds range from £25 to £1 million, with smaller rewards outnumbering the larger ones, making monthly wins uncertain. While thousands receive £25 prizes, only two lucky bondholders bag the £1 million jackpot each month, with a maximum investment cap of £50,000 per person.
The odds of winning a prize each month stand at 22,000 to 1 for every £1 bond held, with winners notified via email or text message by NS&I upon winning.
Upon winning, recipients can opt for funds to be transferred to their bank account or reinvested in Premium Bonds. They can conveniently check their wins using the online NS&I prize checker or the Premium Bonds prize checker app.
The current prize fund rate, akin to an interest rate for Premium Bonds, sits at 3.60%, unchanged since the August 2025 draw, despite a gradual decline in recent months leading to a slight decrease in larger prize offerings but an increase in smaller rewards.
Despite these changes, two £1 million prizes are still up for grabs monthly among more than 24 million Premium Bonds holders.
