Millions of Sky Mobile subscribers are set to experience an increase in their monthly bills starting next month following the announcement of a new price hike. The majority of customers will witness a £1.50 per month increment, totaling an annual rise of £18, although some individuals may observe varying adjustments.
The revised charges will be reflected in customers’ bills starting February 14, 2026, marking the first price alteration for in-contract customers by Sky Mobile in over seven years. Should customers be dissatisfied with the price surge and are within the minimum contract duration, they have the option to terminate their package without incurring an early termination fee.
Notably, the price for the Sky Mobile social tariff, designed for individuals with lower incomes, will remain unchanged. Sky attributed the price adjustment to increased wholesale network expenses and assured customers that they would be notified promptly if their bills are affected.
A spokesperson for Sky Mobile stated, “To maintain the expected quality, service, and value for our customers, most Sky Mobile users will experience a £1.50 monthly increment from February. This decision reflects the industry-wide cost pressures while enabling us to invest in our network and enhance customer satisfaction.”
In a similar vein, O2 recently revealed that nearly all mobile and SIM-only contract subscribers will encounter a £2.50 monthly bill upsurge from April 2026, surpassing the initial £1.80 increment. Additionally, Three mobile users opting for data plans below 4GB from November 9 can anticipate a £1.80 monthly escalation from April 2026, indicating an increase of 80p compared to the current £1 raise.
Customers selecting plans ranging from 4GB to 100GB will witness a £1.90 monthly increase from April 2026, while those with over 100GB data allocation will face a £2.30 rise per month. Three broadband subscribers are slated to experience a £3.50 monthly hike from April 2026.
Moreover, Vodafone mobile customers enrolling in deals from November 12 will observe a £2.50 monthly bill escalation, with Basics SIM plan users seeing a £1.50 rise. Vodafone broadband consumers, on the other hand, will face a £3.50 monthly increase. Existing Vodafone or Three broadband and mobile contract holders will witness a rise corresponding to their previously agreed-upon amount.
