A vibrant centenarian, aged 101, has revealed her keys to a lengthy and robust life. Ann Angeletti believes there are various ways to enhance one’s chances of living longer, but she attributes her thriving health over the past century primarily to her dedication to work.
Ann, a respected figure in her New Jersey community, continues to set an example by actively managing her successful jewelry business with her daughter and granddaughter. She diligently operates her shop, Curiosity Jewellers, six days a week, negotiating deals in the city with undiminished enthusiasm.
Having been industrious since her youth, Ann exhibited strong commitment, leaving school early to assist in her family’s grocery business. Throughout World War Two, she worked at a Navy Yard while her husband was in service, later transitioning to waitressing before finding her true passion in fashion and jewelry. Ann maintains that she still enjoys working, stating that retiring would be akin to ceasing to live.
In addition to stressing the importance of self-care, emphasizing basic daily routines like getting up, showering, eating well, and taking care of oneself, Ann highlights the significance of cultivating personal happiness for longevity. She encourages individuals to pursue activities they love and prioritize building relationships, a principle she lives by in nurturing connections with her customers.
Despite her age, Ann remains an active member of her community, admired for her dedication and energy. Her dedication to her work and her ability to connect with people have made her a beloved figure in her local area, with many expressing admiration for her spirit and work ethic.
