“Chancellor’s Budget Prioritizes NHS, Debt Reduction & Cost of Living”

In a few days, I will present my second Budget as the Chancellor. I have prioritized addressing NHS waiting lists, reducing national debt, and lowering the cost of living, with a focus on supporting working families. Our commitment to cutting NHS waiting lists stems from the need to uplift the healthcare system, reverse past austerity measures, and ensure timely patient care.

Reducing national debt is crucial to allocate funds back into essential sectors like education, healthcare, law enforcement, and communities. The high cost of living remains a significant burden for households, particularly affecting ordinary families. To address this, measures will be taken in the upcoming Budget to alleviate financial pressures.

Recent initiatives, such as freezing prescription charges and rail fares, introducing breakfast clubs in schools, and combating ticket touting, aim to ease daily expenses for the public. These actions demonstrate our dedication to supporting individuals with everyday costs, with further commitments to be unveiled in the Budget.

The focus on alleviating the cost of living is made possible by the economic stability achieved through prudent spending practices. Efforts to eliminate waste and fraud ensure that resources are directed where they are most needed, whether in asylum support, eliminating redundant governmental positions, or preventing welfare fraud.

The upcoming Budget is designed to benefit families directly, aiming to create a fairer, stronger, and more resilient Britain. It reflects our commitment to enhancing the well-being of individuals and households across the nation.
