“Sky One Makes Triumphant Return with New Shows”

Sky has made a surprising announcement by bringing back its beloved channel, Sky One, which was previously discontinued in 2021. The revamped channel will showcase a variety of comedy and entertainment programs, including new shows like The Dyers’ Caravan Park and Gemma Collins: Four Weddings and a Baby.

Viewers can look forward to seeing favorites such as Rob & Romesh Vs., The Paper, and Ted, alongside upcoming content like Saturday Night Live UK. Sky One, now residing on channel 106, replaces Sky Showcase and Sky Max, consolidating a diverse range of entertainment options in one convenient location for audiences.

Carli Kerr, the Managing Director of Sky TV & NOW, expressed the company’s aim to enhance the viewing experience for Sky TV customers. The channel’s revival will pay homage to the iconic legacy of Sky One and feature exclusive new Sky Originals, returning fan-favorites, and the highly anticipated Saturday Night Live UK.

The launch date for Sky One is set for Tuesday, February 24, on channel 106. This announcement coincides with Sky’s upcoming major event, as the company has teased exciting developments for its TV service.

Speculations are already swirling about what surprises Sky might unveil at the event, given the company’s history of significant reveals during in-person launches. Mirror Online will cover the event in London’s West End and provide live updates as the news unfolds. The event is scheduled to commence at around 10 am on February 11.
