“Sky Relaunches Sky One with New Shows and Ultimate TV Plan”

Sky has made significant changes to its TV channel lineup, including the closure of Sky Showcase and Sky Max. However, subscribers can look forward to the return of the beloved Sky One channel, which will feature a range of comedy and entertainment programs like The Dyers’ Caravan Park and Gemma Collins: Four Weddings and a Baby. In addition to new content, viewers can enjoy returning favorites such as Rob & Romesh Vs., The Paper, and Ted on Sky One.

Carli Kerr, the Managing Director of Sky TV & NOW, expressed excitement about the channel’s relaunch, emphasizing its unique offerings of new Sky Originals, returning favorites, and the upcoming Saturday Night Live UK series. Sky One is set to launch on channel 106 on Tuesday, February 24.

Furthermore, Sky announced a new plan called Ultimate TV, priced at ÂŁ24 per month, which provides access to Disney+, Netflix, Hayu, and the upcoming HBO Max app. Subscribers to this plan will also receive over 130 premium channels, including Sky Comedy, Sky Documentaries, Sky Crime, and Sky History. Additionally, Sky Cinema users will benefit from a dedicated Disney movie channel integrated into the TV guide, allowing them to watch popular Hollywood films without switching apps.

The ÂŁ24 Ultimate TV plan includes Netflix Standard with Ads, Disney+ Standard with Ads starting in March, HBO Max Basic with Ads launching on March 26th, Hayu with select shows available from March, and over 130 channels from Sky.
