“Virgin Media Adds Sky Atlantic to Lineup, Free of Charge”

Virgin Media users who subscribe to Sky Entertainment channels will soon receive Sky Atlantic at no extra cost starting from next month. This update, available to Virgin TV 360 and Stream box customers, will roll out on screens on April 1. To access Sky Atlantic shows like Heated Rivalry and The Last Of Us, viewers simply need to tune in to channel 111 on the Virgin TV platform or use the on-demand and Virgin TV Go services.

David Bouchier, Chief TV and Entertainment Officer at Virgin Media O2, expressed excitement about the addition of Sky Atlantic, known for its captivating dramas and compelling stories from the UK and US, to the Virgin TV lineup. With over a million Virgin TV customers set to enjoy Sky Atlantic without any additional charges, Bouchier emphasized the company’s commitment to offering premium entertainment value seamlessly.

Meanwhile, Sky has introduced a new Ultimate TV plan that includes premium channels, Disney+, Netflix, Hayu, and the upcoming HBO Max app. Priced at £24, this package will be accessible on Sky Glass, Sky Stream, and Sky Q platforms. Sophia Ahmad, Sky’s Chief Consumer Officer, described this update as marking a “new era” for Sky and NOW, combining Sky, Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, and Hayu into a single subscription.

As Virgin Media enhances its offerings for customers, Sky’s latest developments in the entertainment landscape are set to bring a wealth of content options to viewers, catering to a diverse range of preferences.
