Apple has recently unveiled the iPhone 17e, offering significant upgrades at an attractive price point. Priced at £599, the device features a fast A19 processor, MagSafe charging, durable design, and an impressive single-lens camera. Notably, it is £200 cheaper compared to Apple’s flagship iPhone.
In a similar vein, Samsung has confirmed the release of its latest models, the A57 and A37, starting at £399. While these devices may not match the performance and charging capabilities of the iPhone 17e, they boast a 6.7-inch screen with 120Hz technology, surpassing the 17e’s 60Hz display in smoothness for tasks like web browsing, email navigation, and gaming.
The Galaxy phones from Samsung offer additional features such as large 5,000mAh batteries, triple lens cameras, and P68 water and dust resistance. For tech enthusiasts, Samsung has integrated various smart features into the A37 and A57, including Google’s Circle to Search for quick web searches and advanced photo editing tools like Object Eraser and Edit Suggestions.
Moreover, Samsung introduces enhanced Voice Transcription within the Voice Recorder app, allowing users to transcribe call recordings and convert voicemail audio into text swiftly. The Galaxy A57 5G and A37 5G promise extended support with up to six generations of Android OS and One UI updates, along with six years of security patches.
Both models will be available for purchase on Samsung.com starting April 10th, with the Galaxy A57 5G priced from £529 (256GB) and the Galaxy A37 5G starting at £399 (128GB). The Galaxy A57 5G will come in colors like Awesome Navy, Awesome Grey, Awesome Icyblue, and Awesome Lilac, while the Galaxy A37 5G will be available in shades like Awesome Lavender, Awesome Charcoal, Awesome Greygreen, and Awesome White.
