A 22-year-old woman named Rebecca Park allegedly met a tragic end after being in the company of her biological mother. Rebecca, who was heavily pregnant at 38 weeks, disappeared after getting into a dark car outside her mother’s residence, never to be seen or heard from again.
Reports suggest that Rebecca’s mother, Cortney Bartholomew, along with her stepfather, Bradly Bartholomew, orchestrated a horrifying attack on Rebecca. Cortney allegedly held a knife to Rebecca’s throat while Bradly reportedly stabbed her multiple times and cut her unborn child from her womb in a remote area in north Michigan.
The incident, believed to be a premeditated act of revenge, stemmed from Cortney’s affair with Rebecca’s fiancé, Richard Lee Falor. Cortney claimed that her actions were an attempt to save the baby so she could give him to Richard.
Rebecca tragically lost her life in the brutal attack, sustaining numerous stab wounds and other injuries. Her body was found weeks later with signs of a harrowing ordeal. Bradly allegedly disposed of her body and the baby, leading to the arrest of Cortney, Bradly, Rebecca’s sister Kimberley Park, and Richard.
