Wetherspoon is kicking off its January Sale today at 600 of its pubs, offering a pint of beer for as low as 99p. The discounted drinks lineup includes Worthington’s beer at 99p per pint, Coldwater Creek wine for £2.99 per 250ml glass, Johnnie Walker Black Label (25ml with mixer) for £1.99, and Tanqueray gin (25ml with mixer) for £1.99.
The sale also features a variety of low-alcohol and alcohol-free options such as Guinness 0.0, Corona Cero, Brewdog Punk AF, Stella Artois Alcohol Free, Erdinger Isotonic, Thatchers zero, Koppaberg Alcohol Free, and Gordons 0.0 pink gin at £1.69 each. Beck’s Blue and Sanpellegrino Aranciata Rossa will be available for 99p each. Additionally, discounts are offered on Wetherspoon food items, including an 11-inch Margherita pizza or chicken burger with chips for £4.99 with a soft drink, or £6.52 with an alcoholic beverage.
Customers can opt for six jacket potatoes for £4.99 with a soft drink, or £6.52 with an alcoholic drink, with fillings such as tuna mayo, coleslaw, chilli bean non-carne, cheese, baked beans, or roasted vegetables. Extra fillings or side salads can be added for 99p each. There are also new gourmet jacket potatoes available for £6.49 with a soft drink and £8.02 with an alcoholic drink, featuring loaded spuds with various toppings like cheese, bacon, garlic butter, sour cream, chilli bean non-carne, guacamole, crushed tortilla chips, sliced chillies, and coriander.
Wetherspoon founder and chairman Tim Martin expressed his enthusiasm for the January Sale, stating that the pub’s offerings cater to a wide range of tastes, including a diverse selection of low and non-alcoholic drinks. The sale will be active in 600 pubs from January 2, extending until January 15, except in Scotland where it starts on January 3. Note that prices at the remaining 200 Wetherspoon locations may differ.
